We’re seeking a Legal Assistant with experience in construction and/or property law to join thispartner-led Construction team.

As a key part of the team, you’ll support both commercial and contentious aspects of our construction practice. Expect variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers on high-quality legal matters.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing documents and correspondence in line with firm standards

  • Supporting new client onboarding and compliance processes

  • Managing filing systems (electronic and hard copy)

  • Assisting with post-completion tasks for non-contentious construction

  • Creating bundles and handling general admin tasks

  • Preparing billing guides and tracking payments

  • Diary and calendar management for fee earners

  • Supporting business development efforts as needed

You’ll Succeed With:
  • Prior experience in a construction and/or property law team

  • Exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters

  • Fast, accurate typing (minimum 50 wpm)

  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills and familiarity with billing/document systems

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
