Overview

Legal Secretary

A prestigious law firm providing a wide range of legal services is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team based in East Belfast.

This is a Full-Time, permanent role.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Salary: Dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Audio typing.
  • Sending/receiving emails on behalf of Solicitor.
  • Filing, photocopying, keeping files up to date.
  • Assisting within the team as and when required.
  • Diary management.
  • Occasionally making and receiving phone calls and liaising with clients, other legal firms etc.
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with the firm\'s own processes.
Essential Criteria
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a busy legal environment.
  • Preferable experience in conveyancing.
  • Excellent IT skills with the use of Microsoft Word, typing, formatting and editing documents.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills while working to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
