Owen Reed is seeking to recruit an exceptional Legal Personal Assistant with strong Dispute Resolution experience for a leading law firm.

Responsibilities
- Provide a first-class legal secretarial service to a busy team within a professional environment.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Senior Associates, Associates, Trainees, the Secretarial Team Leader, the wider secretarial services function, practice areas, and other support departments.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS Office with a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm.
- Proactively and accurately monitor/oversee inboxes on the team’s behalf during absence, as agreed with Associates.
- Manage and oversee calendars, schedule all meetings and related logistics, and ensure arrangements are in place (room bookings, updated calendars, etc.).
- Prepare, edit, and proofread all documents, ensuring adherence to house style with attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborate effectively with Executive Assistants, central teams, and fellow Legal Secretaries, providing cover during holidays and absences.
- Respond promptly to tasks and manage deadlines effectively to ensure expectations are met.
- Act as a professional and effective point of contact, managing telephone calls, taking accurate messages, and representing the team both internally and externally.
- Manage and coordinate billing and compliance processes on behalf of the team, including taking a lead role in bill creation, and working closely with billing and compliance teams to ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Ensure expense claims are submitted accurately and on time.
- Take initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Demonstrate confidentiality, diplomacy, and a strong understanding of the group and its clients.
