We produce lightweight foams for a wide range of markets including sports and leisure, aviation, automotive, and healthcare. Zotefoams also owns and licenses patented technology and supplies advanced insulation systems.

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our in‑house legal function, based in our Central London office in Finsbury Circus, with a hybrid working pattern of 2–3 days per week in the office.

This is a broad and hands on role offering exposure across general commercial legal work, corporate matters and company secretarial support within a listed, international group. It is well suited to a lawyer looking to develop strong in‑house capability, commercial judgement and governance experience.

You will work closely with the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, as well as a wide range of senior stakeholders across the business, gaining visibility across legal, governance and commercial matters in a supportive, high‑quality environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary on legal matters across the Group
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
  • Providing day to day legal support across data protection, IP and employment related queries
  • Delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
  • Supporting company secretarial activities including board and committee processes
  • Preparing minutes, resolutions and statutory filings
  • Assisting with governance and regulatory compliance for a UK listed group
  • Supporting corporate projects, transactions and strategic initiatives
  • Managing external legal advisors where required
  • Maintaining and improving legal processes, templates and governance frameworks
What you'll need
  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent
  • Experience gained in private practice and or an in house environment
  • Exposure to general commercial legal work
  • Interest in company secretarial matters and corporate governance
  • Strong drafting skills with good attention to detail
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels
