As a Legal Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our fee earners and the wider team, helping to ensure cases progress efficiently and clients receive a high standard of service.

Slater and Gordon is one of the UK's leading consumer law firms, providing people with easier access to world-class legal services. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Legal Administrator to join our Serious Injury team in Cambridge.

This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional legal environment and build a long-term career in law. Prior legal experience is not required.

Responsibilities
  • Opening and closing files
  • Supporting fee earners with collating and producing bundles
  • Assisting with general finance tasks, including chasing and paying invoices
  • Drafting letters and correspondence
  • Cataloguing and archiving files
  • Managing post, stationery orders and office administration
  • Booking desks and parking, arranging meetings and organising transport for events
  • Ensuring printers and office equipment are serviced and operational

Organised, proactive and detail-focused.

Strong communication and administrative skills.

Comfortable working as part of a busy team.

Confident using IT systems.

Qualifications

No legal experience or degree required – full training provided.
