  • Use the Land Registry portal to obtain official copies, priority searches, and SIMs.
  • Requisition property searches through search agents, ensuring correct mapping.
  • Obtain copy planning consents and other relevant documents from local authorities.
  • Draft Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns and Land Registry applications.
  • Prepare deeds schedules for internal storage and external delivery.
  • Assist secretaries with file opening, including client/matter forms.
  • Issue invoices promptly and save to File Site.

Legal Administrator – Real Estate Department | London | Permanent

We are working with a prestigious London law firm that is seeking a Legal Administrator to join their Real Estate department on a permanent basis.

This role will provide high‑quality administrative support to property partners and fee earners, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and contributing to the continued enhancement of working practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the Land Registry portal to obtain official copies, priority searches, and SIMs
  • Requisition property searches through search agents, ensuring correct mapping
  • Obtain copy planning consents and other relevant documents from local authorities
  • Draft Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns and Land Registry applications, submitting them after fee‑earner review
  • Prepare deeds schedules for internal storage and external delivery, retrieving deeds from off‑site storage
  • Assist secretaries with file opening, including client/matter forms, conflict searches, and first‑draft client care letters
  • Issue invoices promptly and save to File Site
