Overview

The School of Engineering at our Hemel Hempstead Campus is looking for a full time or part time lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding Engineering and Motor Vehicle learners excel within practical and theory environments.

Our courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach across the Level 1 Automotive Engineering and Level 2/3 Motor Vehicle programmes.
  • Utilise industry knowledge to support practical and theory learning.
  • Support learners of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant Motor Vehicle qualifications at Level 3 or above.
  • Experience in the Motor Vehicle industry.
  • Enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential; training to achieve a teaching qualification will be provided.
  • Assessors and/or IQA qualifications would be advantageous.
