This is an exciting opportunity to join the Midwifery teaching team at King’s College London teaching students on our innovative pre-registration BSc (Hons), MSc and CPD programmes and modules.The Department of Midwifery comprises staff who are actively engaged in education, research, and service development across a range of areas relevant to the field.We have adiverse team ofclinical teachers, teaching fellows, lecturers, senior lecturers, and an internationally renowned professor.
Committed to teamwork with excellent communication skills you will be passionate about midwifery and education, demonstrating an ability to inspire the next generation of midwives. Academic citizenship through academic related activities that underpin excellence in education will be an expectation of the role as well as the promotion of education research conducted within the Department and Faculty.
Educated to Master's level you will need to be a registered midwife on the appropriate part of the NMC professional register with significant experience within midwifery, including the teaching of pre‑registration students.
Appointment to the higher grade will be dependent on significant experience in curriculum design and delivery, as well as doctorate or demonstrable equivalence in professional experience and status.
This is a full‑time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 30/08/2028.
Hybrid – minimum of 2 days primarily on Waterloo or Guys campus dependant on teaching commitments.

Grade and Salary: Grade 6: £45,031 - £52,514; Grade 7: £53,947 - £63,350 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance
