Overview

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Lecturer in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and related subjects at Levels 1-3. You will have the opportunity to bring real-world industry experience into the classroom and help students gain practical, career-ready skills. You will also contribute to course development and curriculum planning to shape an engaging and future-focused learning experience.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and related subjects at Levels 1-3.
  • Bring real-world industry experience into the classroom to help students develop practical skills.
  • Contribute to course development and curriculum planning.
Essential Requirements
  • Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in a relevant subject area or equivalent.
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or equivalent.
  • Teaching Qualification or willingness to complete within 3 years of employment or the first available course.
Essential Experience
  • Industrial experience within the plant maintenance / electrical / pneumatic engineering sector.
  • Experience of working with young people.
