Lecturer in Land Based (Agriculture) The Role:

Set in 500 acres of Wiltshire countryside, our Lackham campus is home to a modern AgriTech Centre, a Robotic Dairy featuring market‑leading robotics and software, and Home Farm where our dairy herd, flock of sheep, livestock and crop production are all based.

We are seeking a Lecturer in Land Based (Agriculture) to join our passionate and supportive team someone who shares our enthusiasm for rural industries, sustainability, and innovation in modern farming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across a range of agriculture‑related topics, such as livestock management, crop production, machinery operations, and agri‑business from Level 1 through to Level 3.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, using practical, real‑world examples drawn from your own experience.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback and pastoral guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure our curriculum remains current and aligned with emerging agricultural technologies and practices.

  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Agriculture or a related discipline.
