Summary

JOB REF: VAF168: LECTURER IN FOUNDATION & PREPARATION STUDIES (VARIABLE HOURS)

£21.62 per taught hour. Variable hours, as and when required.

We are currently looking for a Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of our entry level courses within the SEND section. This role involves working flexibly to meet the needs of the learners and providing high-quality teaching and learning across Independent Living Skills, Progression skills, Preparation Studies and Functional Skills Maths and English (Entry Level 1 through to Level 2).

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Functional Skills Maths and English, ensuring learners develop the practical skills, confidence and understanding required for progression and independence. Working closely with the Inclusive Learning team, you will adapt teaching methods and resources to meet a wide range of learning needs and support learners to achieve their individual targets.

A teaching qualification, together with evidence of experience in teaching learners with a range of difficulties, disabilities or complex needs, is essential.
