Lecturer in Art

Reading School of Art is looking to recruit a lecturer with ability to teach practice, art theory and history of art. The role holder will be actively involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, assessment, marking and administration in a variety of academic capacities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, undertake and manage teaching in the practice, theory and history of Art at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Develop and apply effective teaching methods, materials and assessment techniques, taking into account the opportunities that a diverse student body presents.
  • Undertake assigned roles in academic administration as appropriate.
  • Support post graduate research programme and doctoral students
