Overview

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer in Carpentry & Multi Trades to join our team at the Slough & Langley campus. This is a permanent, part-time position, on a 0.6 FTE basis.

Lecturer – Carpentry & Multi Trades (0.6 FTE)

This part-time Lecturer role in Carpentry & Multi Trades encompasses a broad range of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality education and training in carpentry and multi trades.

Responsibilities
  • The main responsibility is to facilitate student learning through effective teaching and assessment, ensuring that students achieve their educational goals.
  • This involves managing teaching programs, regularly assessing student progress, and maintaining high standards of discipline and morale both inside and outside the classroom.
  • The lecturer is expected to monitor and record student progress and interventions and keep abreast of developments in the professional field through continuous learning and engagement with the industry.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will need relevant professional qualifications, recent industry experience, and ideally, experience in teaching and course development.
