Salary Scale: £90 - 95 a day
Contract type: Day to Day Cover, Short and Long Term - starting ASAP
We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEMH/Autism provision in Kidderminster. You will have the opportunity to use restorative practices to support our students in their social and emotional development, speech, language and communication difficulties and autism, children aged between 5 to 19 year old. We believe that empathy is of the utmost importance in working with young people, and we encourage our staff to build strong relationships with our students from the very beginning. In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will focus on building these relationships in the first weeks, while also displaying your academic potential and social maturity. At our SEMH/ASD provision, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where our students can grow and thrive, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and passion for supporting young people.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with challenging behaviour in an education or Support setting.
