Learning Support Assistant – Primary SEN School - Redhill

Opportunity to genuinely make a difference to young children who need support in many ways. The role involves supporting children with severe and multiple learning difficulties, including medical needs, autism, and other disabilities.

You will help children aged 3 to 11 by supporting the teacher with their development and education, using adapted learning materials and methods tailored to children with special needs. Your role includes encouraging, reassuring, and comforting children while helping them become independent and confident.

You will receive training, mentoring, and guidance from a team of experienced and supportive professionals, and learn to clinically assess children and support required medical interventions and personal care.

The school is well-equipped with a large hall, fitted PE apparatus, soft play and sensory rooms, a swing room, and high-quality indoor swimming and hydrotherapy pools.

Your duties include greeting children in the mornings, assisting with pupil handover at the end of the day, and supporting children during breaks and activities both indoors and outdoors.

Start date: Flexible
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30
Pay: £90 to £110 per day
Training and support: Excellent on-site training, CPD, and mentoring provided
Requirements: Must have the right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available
