As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing dedicated support to a specific student with unique learning requirements. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the classroom teacher and other professionals to implement a personalised learning plan tailored to the student's needs.

Position Details
  • Location: South Benfleet
  • Salary Scale: £85-£115
  • Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
  1. Provide one-to-one support to a student with learning needs.
  2. Assist in implementing individualised education plans.
  3. Collaborate with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to support the student effectively.
  4. Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student to promote well-being and engagement.
  5. Monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
  6. Work with other professionals to ensure a holistic support system.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
