Job requirements

English and Maths at level 2 or above for example, GCSE Grade 4 / C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 – applicants without this will not be shortlisted.

Homefield is a community-based independent specialist college that offers education, training and independent living skills for people with learning disabilities and communication difficulties. Most of our students are on the Autistic Spectrum with bespoke timetables to suit individual learner’s educational needs and interests.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Based primarily at our Nuneaton site, you will be working with young adults who have a wide range of learning difficulties, providing support for teaching, learning and assessment. You will play a vital role in enabling our students to achieve to their maximum potential, preparing them for adulthood and independent living.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant will have experience of working with young adults with learning difficulties and behaviours of concern, with a minimum of level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. The candidate should be confident, organised, and able to work in a busy environment.
