Learning Support Assistant

We’re supporting schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland who are looking for Graduate Learning Support Assistants to work alongside teachers and pupils in the classroom. You’ll be helping children stay focused, build confidence and feel supported throughout the school day.

£90–£110 per day

Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups
  • Helping children who need a bit of extra encouragement
  • Working closely with teachers and support staff
  • Being a calm, positive presence in the classroom
You’ll suit this role if
  • Are a recent graduate, any degree welcome
  • Are considering teaching, psychology, SEND or youth work
  • Enjoy working with children and building relationships
  • Are patient, reliable and happy to get involved

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
