Salary: £80 - £110 per day / Pay to Scale

Role Overview

We are seeking a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students' learning and development, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will
  • Provide tailored support to students with varying needs, including those with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Support students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote inclusion.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting to the teacher and SENCO as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as an LSA or in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
