Learning Support Assistant (Full Time / Temporary)

Lincoln, Lincolnshire

£16,000 - £22,000 salary is depending on experience and or qualifications

Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lincoln from November 2025. This is a long-term, full-time position expected to run for the full academic year. The successful candidate will support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), both in and out of the classroom, and help ensure they have full access to the curriculum.

This school prides itself on its supportive environment and strong commitment to inclusive education. The SEN department works closely with teaching staff to provide targeted, effective support that enables all learners to succeed. The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Learning Support Assistant, you will :

  • Have experience working with young people or supporting individuals with SEN
  • Be able to build positive relationships and show empathy and understanding
  • Be committed to promoting inclusion and raising the achievement of all learners
  • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
