About the Role

Masterclass Education is working with a dedicated primary school to provide a nurturing and inclusive educational environment for all students. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team and support students in achieving their full potential.

Job Description

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teachers, specialists, and other staff members to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties.
  • Support classroom teachers in delivering differentiated instruction to meet the varied needs of students.
  • Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
  • Prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support students in managing their behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Attend relevant training and professional development sessions.
