Job Title: Learning Session Leader

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: 4,204.75 - 8,409.94 per annum Actual Salary depending on the position ( 34,671 FTE)

2 Roles Available:

  • One covering a Monday in core weeks, with an additional 5 floating non-core shifts per annum. Actual salary 4,204.75.
  • One covering a Monday and Tuesday in core weeks, in addition to 10 floating non-core shifts per annum. Actual salary 8,409.94.
  • Each core week shift is 9.40am - 3.10pm across 38 mainly term time weeks per year. The salary is based on 34,671 FTE.

We are seeking two Learning Session Leaders to join our award-winning team and assist in the delivery of our exciting STEM based learning programme for visiting school, college, university and family groups, and our virtual learning programme.

About you

Do you have a flair for teaching? Do you enjoy working with children and young people?

As a Learning Session Leader, you will be enthusiastic about facilitating learning and sharing Bletchley Park's stories via engaging, interactive and cross-curricular workshop sessions. You'll have the ability to think on your feet, a 'can do' attitude and exemplary communication skills for a wide range of audiences. You'll also need a background in delivering successful formal and informal learning activities in a museum, heritage or learning environment and enjoy exceeding expectations at every opportunity.

This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. This will be carried out on your behalf by Bletchley Park Trust.

Working Hours

This is a part time role based on site at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes (MK3 6EB).

Hours of work will be Monday to Sunday, working a minimum of 2 days each week on a rota basis (111.5 days per year). Usual hours or work will be 8.30am to 6.00pm, with half an hour unpaid lunch break.
