Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic member of staff to manage our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) and become part of our Careers Team at The Beacon School. This role represents a great opportunity to work within a stimulating environment to support students and staff to access the tools and resources they need to succeed alongside our excellent teams in the English and Careers Departments.

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead in managing and maintaining the Learning Resource Centre, creating an inspiring environment that supports the wider curriculum and enhances students’ learning.
  • Design, organise, and promote a structured programme of careers events and activities for Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to explore opportunities and make informed decisions about their next steps.

  • Evidence of dealing with young people

  • Salary: Specialist Point 1 - 16 £26,272 - £29,894 FTE
