A UK supplier of trade and security products is searching for an experienced Warehouse Manager in Bury. The successful candidate will oversee operations in a busy distribution centre, leading and developing a team while ensuring safe and efficient processes. The role requires proven warehouse management experience, strong leadership, and excellent organisational skills. This position offers a salary between £50,000 and £55,000 along with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse or distribution centre management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Lead, train and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring a positive and high performance culture.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with company and legal requirements.
• Monitor stock levels, accuracy and inventory control processes.
• Work closely with logistics, purchasing and customer service teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and warehouse layout.
• Produce operational reports and ensure KPIs are met.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and security standards.
