We are now looking to expand our Board of Trustees by appointing at least two new members who can bring specialist expertise in the charity's core activities to help shape the organisation's next phase, whilst maintaining the central role of lived experience.

Role and focus

This is a pivotal time to join us. Our advocacy has already contributed to meaningful policy reform within British Gymnastics, and we are now focused on sustaining pressure for implementation, pushing for legal reform, and supporting international efforts for cultural change in the sport worldwide.

We particularly welcome applications from people with experience in
  • Sports governance. Including:
    • Understanding of the UK and/or international sport system;
    • Experience with a national or international governing body or sport charity;
    • Insight into sport-specific safeguarding structures and regulatory frameworks.
  • Human rights campaigning and/or strategic litigation. Including:
    • Designing or delivering successful advocacy or media campaigns;
    • Political and public affairs experience;
    • Stakeholder engagement, from grassroots to government;
    • Advising on or coordinating strategic litigation
Inclusion and lived experience

We are a neuro-affirmative and inclusive organisation and are particularly keen to hear from:

  • People with lived experience of abuse in gymnastics or other sports
  • People of colour and the global majority
  • Neurodiverse people
  • Disabled people
  • LGBTQIA+ individuals
What you’ll be joining
  • A bold, survivor-led human rights organisation
  • A young but fast-growing charity propelled by an engaged movement of survivors
  • A team backed by significant core funding until 2027 from the Oak Foundation
  • A movement making real impact in the UK and building influence internationally
