A regional healthcare provider in Harlow is seeking an experienced professional to lead their Ultrasound service. The successful candidate will manage a complex case load, ensure quality assurance, and provide teaching to junior doctors. Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills are required to drive service development and uphold safety standards in patient care.
This role is to lead the Ultrasound service at PAHT from an operational and clinical aspect. The postholder will be an expert clinical practitioner, managing a complex case load. They will have a role in governance, leadership, quality assurance, teaching and supervision in addition to their cross-divisional clinical case load. The post holder will be dynamic, innovative, forward thinking, and will contribute to service development and the trust-wide improvement plans. The post holder will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team including Advanced Practitioners, Senior Sonographers, Sonographers and Radiology Assistants working in the ultrasound department. The post holder will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high-quality ultrasound service within a safe environment for staff and patients.
