A leading rail organization in London seeks a Lead Solution Architect to shape the next generation of digital ticketing solutions. You will lead the architecture for Barcode 2.0 and ensure the successful integration with various transport operations. Ideal candidates will demonstrate extensive experience in technical architecture, knowledge of cloud platforms, and excellent communication skills. This role offers a competitive salary of £62,500 - £87,500, hybrid working, and additional perks including generous annual leave and travel discounts.

About the Role
With over half of all rail tickets now fulfilled via barcode, RDG is investing in a major re-design of its barcode system. You will lead architecture for 'Barcode 2.0', supporting cross-London travel and working closely with TfL. From short-term projects like eTicket On Departure to long-term strategic reform, this is a critical and high-impact role.
This role will shape the next generation of barcode ticketing solutions across rail. You’ll lead the technical strategy for Barcode 2.0, ensuring continuity, security, and alignment with broader retail system reforms.
