Overview

My client are searching for an exceptional Senior/Lead Vet to lead a brilliant team close to Chingford, London.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the clinical services, driving continuous improvement in standards and helping to develop a talented team. With a focus on becoming a centre of clinical excellence, your expertise and leadership will be central to the success.

Responsibilities
  • As Head Vet, you’ll play a pivotal role in the management of the surgery.
  • Lead with outstanding clinical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Be confident in a leadership position, with the drive to coach and inspire others while working towards a shared strategic vision.
  • The role involves a 4-day working week, with 1 in 4 weekends, with no out-of-hours work, but some on-call availability when there are overnight inpatients.
  • You’ll join a warm and dedicated team that includes one Senior Vet, four Vets, and six RVNs.
  • The clinical services span orthopedics, exotic pet care, and BOAS surgery, with a 50/50 split between cats and dogs, making this an ideal role for anyone with a passion for feline medicine.
  • CPD is a core part of the development culture across all roles, and the team continually works on initiatives to close skill gaps.
