Are you ready to lead, inspire, and make a real impact in a dynamic imaging environment? Fortius Clinic, a leading provider of orthopaedics and sports medicine, is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Radiographer to join our Imaging team.

About the Role

As the Lead Radiographer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Imaging with the operational and strategic management of Imaging departments across all Fortius sites. You will:

  • Lead and Develop: Line manage Senior Training Radiographers, conduct 1-1s, team meetings, and appraisals, and ensure effective communication and engagement across the radiography team.

  • Resource Planning: Monitor projected imaging volumes across modalities and sites, ensuring optimal staffing and service provision to meet demand.

  • Quality & Safety: Oversee equipment servicing and maintenance, drive continuous improvement of local policies, and uphold the highest standards of radiation protection.

  • Governance: Represent Imaging at the Quality Group, taking responsibility for incident reporting and investigation, patient satisfaction, policy reviews, risk register maintenance, departmental audits, IPC, and Health & Safety.

  • Clinical Excellence: Collaborate with Radiologists to maintain and enhance imaging protocols, ensuring best practice and innovation across all sites.

  • Training & Recruitment: Support recruitment activities and work closely with Senior Training Radiographers to develop and improve training programmes.
