A leading health service provider in Bristol seeks an experienced Lead Radiographer to manage operations of the diagnostic imaging department. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services in areas such as MRI and CT, while mentoring staff and supporting the Radiology Manager. Ideal candidates will possess a BSC in diagnostic radiography and relevant HCPC registration, alongside strong people management and communication skills. A benefits package is included.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Radiographer who will be responsible for the operational management of a part of the diagnostic imaging department ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services, and / or to be a speciality lead in a clinical area such as MRI, CT mammography, whilst supporting the Radiology Manager. You will have the relevant specialist knowledge with previous people management experience, good communication and IT skills, to help us build a healthier nation as a Lead Radiographer at our hospital.
The Radiology department is a growing and busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, Mammography and MRI.
You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification and must be HCPC registered. You should have a working knowledge of IRMER, IRR and be able to undertake audits. Radiation Protection Supervisor training/qualification would be desirable.
