A leading UK retailer is seeking a Lead Procurement Manager to oversee the Property category, focusing on Building Fabric Maintenance (BFM). You will manage procurement for various services, develop strategies aligning with business objectives, and lead a team of procurement managers. Ideal candidates will have construction procurement experience and strong leadership and negotiation skills. This position offers a competitive benefits package and a balance of office and remote work.
We have a great opportunity for a Lead Procurement Manager to join a successful team, leading and developing various elements of the Property category including developing the strategy for Building Fabric Maintenance (BFM) working closely with our partners across property, distribution, retail and customer.
The Lead role manages a team responsible for shopfitting, shelving, main contractors, furniture and signage - the specific role is accountable for procuring all categories relating to building fabric maintenance including glazing, roofing, winter gritting, landscaping and pest control amongst others.
We are looking for an experienced procurement manager, ideally someone who is experienced in the building / construction procurement industry. They will be working closely with our suppliers, senior colleagues and stakeholders within the business to create, build, and develop category plans in line with our strategic and financial objectives.
