We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Lead Photographer to join our in-house studio team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in lighting, retouching, and directional shoot experience within the fashion industry. You’ll be responsible for driving the overall visual look of our photography, leading shoots, managing lighting setups, and ensuring all imagery meets our brand vision and commercial goals.

The role:

  • Lead all studio and on-location shoots, ensuring creative direction aligns with the brand aesthetic.
  • Manage lighting setups to achieve high-quality results across campaign, ecommerce, and editorial shoots.
  • Retouch and edit images to a professional, on-brand standard across all digital platforms.
  • Work closely with stylists, makeup artists, and models to deliver consistent, trend-driven imagery.
  • Oversee junior photographers and freelance creatives, maintaining workflow efficiency and creative quality.
  • Collaborate with the Creative, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to deliver content that drives engagement and sales.
  • Manage shoot schedules, shot lists, and deliverables to meet campaign deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fashion, beauty or lifestyle ideally within a brand or studio setting.
  • Proven strength in high-end retouching and advanced Photoshop skills.
  • Expert understanding of studio and natural lighting techniques.
  • Strong eye for composition, colour, and fashion styling.
  • Ability to direct talent confidently and communicate creative ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with Capture One, Lightroom, and digital asset management processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple projects.
  • Highly creative with a sharp eye for detail and trend awareness.
  • Proactive, organised, and capable of leading a busy studio environment.
  • Passionate about fashion, culture, and creating aspirational content.
