Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the children's community service in Knowsley. This role involves providing high-quality assessments and interventions, supervising junior staff, and contributing to the service's continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, strong interpersonal skills, and be registered with HPC. Competitive salary ranging from £47,810 to £54,710 pro rata is offered, reflecting expertise in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized training course awarding relevant degree/diploma approved by the RCSLT and HPC.
  • Experiential training which demonstrates highly specialist skills in specialist area.
  • Evidence of management and leadership training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and training to the wider staff team regarding speech, language, and communication.
  • Supervise other speech and language therapists and therapy assistants.
  • Contribute to the pre and post qualification teaching of speech and language therapy.
