This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced, compassionate nurse to lead a highly motivated and dynamic specialist palliative care nursing team in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB)
The Specialist Palliative Care Directorate in ABUHB is currently undergoing some exciting changes and developments, in partnership with our third sector providers. We are now looking for an experienced nurse to lead a well-established and innovative palliative care nursing team.
We would welcome a lead nurse who is visionary with a passion for palliative and end of life care who cares about making a difference to the quality of life for patients with life limiting illness and keeping patients at the heart of all you do.
The key elements of the role are:
To enhance communication between primary care, secondary care and the voluntary sector to promote a seamless service and improved patient experience.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 6 months due to secondment cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
