The salary for this permanent Lead Nurse job is £43,814 – £48,183 per annum.

Main Purpose of the role
  • The lead nurse will form part of the senior leadership team within the service, working closely with the service manager and lead doctor to provide and develop high quality clinical service provision, with specific responsibility for nursing services.
  • Required to always act in accordance with CGL expectations of attitudes and behaviours
  • Represent CGL in a professional manner on all occasions.
  • Strive to improve and share good practice, and work towards continuous improvement
  • Maintain and promoting effective communication and shared good practice across the organisation as a whole and externally.

Requirements of the Lead Nurse
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC registration
  • UK Nursing experience
  • Registered with the NMC with a current PIN.
  • Significant experience in health/social care or similar fields.
  • Experience managing teams in clinical services and substance misuse.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical interventions, UK Drug Strategy, and social policy reforms.
  • Familiarity with treatment models, harm minimisation interventions, and regulatory frameworks.
