Overview

Are you an experienced nurse leader with a passion for supporting people through recovery and making a real difference in their lives? We’re seeking a Lead Nurse to join a purpose-built addiction and recovery treatment service, delivering exemplary care in an outstanding environment. This role offers a fulfilling career in a supportive setting, with a good CQC rating and excellent online reviews. The service is located close to the Northwich area of Cheshire, accessible from Crewe, Warrington and Wirral / Liverpool.

Responsibilities
  • Combine strong clinical skills with the ability to guide, coach, and inspire a small, dedicated team to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective care for every service user.
  • Deputise for senior leadership when required, ensuring the clinical team remains visible, effective, and aligned with best practice standards.
  • Working pattern:
    • 3 days per week supernumerary (9am – 5pm)
    • 1 day per week leading on the floor (7:45am – 8pm)
What We’re Looking For
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous leadership experience as a Ward Manager or Band 6/7 Senior Nurse
  • A passion for substance misuse care and supporting recovery journeys
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with the ability to develop others
  • Experience in care planning, incident management, and clinical governance
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with resilience under pressure

Desirable:

  • Leadership or clinical educator qualification
  • Experience in addiction treatment or behavioural health
