Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar.
• Experience leading or mentoring other Design Engineers.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
• Experience with CNC Machining, Casting, Forging, or Extrusion.
• Strong focus on product aesthetics and ergonomics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 Mechanical Design Engineers and sub-contractors.
• Spend 75% of time on design tasks and 25% on leadership duties.
• Challenge existing methods and suggest improvements.
• Focus on new product development and product portfolio support.
• Implement process improvements in the design department.
