Lead Maths Teacher (SEND)

Are you a Maths Teacher, with experience in a SEND setting, keen to develop your skills as a Lead Maths Teacher at this independent specialist provision?

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to pupils with diverse learning needs
  • Develop personalised learning pathways and support individual students to achieve their potential
  • Plan, assess and report on pupils' progress in line with national standards and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, homework, assessments, and progress
  • Lead curriculum development for Mathematics in line with Ofsted and internal educational frameworks
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment
Ideal Candidate
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEND
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in a SEND or alternative provision setting
  • QTS or QTLS is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive and supportive approach to both staff collaboration and student wellbeing
