Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Wembley

Are you an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer with a passion for maintenance and a knack for leadership? This contract opportunity is based in Wembley. We are looking for a proactive and skilled individual with a strong mechanical bias to join a dynamic team on a crucial maintenance contract. You will be responsible for leading a small team of 2-3 engineers, overseeing all scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of 2-3 engineers and coordinate all scheduled and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical systems and manage maintenance delivery to required standards.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and drive project delivery on time.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer, with a track record of successfully managing and mentoring a small team.
  • Strong mechanical engineering background and extensive experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, diagnose faults, and make key decisions on-site to minimize downtime.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday shift pattern, ensuring weekends are free.
  • Flexible working hours with two shift options: 7am - 4pm or 6am - 3pm.
