Job description

Our client is offering a great opportunity to join their successful water treatment company and are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic, competent Lead Legionella Consultant to cover a variety of contacts in the Central Scotland region. Applications from Glasgow, Edinburgh and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience working in this role within the water treatment/hygiene industry
  • BTEC and NEBOSH qualifications
  • Managing projects, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments and managing Quality Systems
  • Background in chemical, technical, legionella, office, consultancy and water treatment/hygiene
  • Attended an approved Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds or internal training course
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations
  • Well versed with the water treatment/hygiene industry – ACOP L8
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of terms of agreement and contract documentation
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a large volume of legionella risk assessments
  • Produce detailed schematic drawings and final documents
  • Operate within IS09001 and 14001 processes
  • Liaise with clients on a regular basis
  • Manage Legionella Risk Assessors and attend sites as required
  • Involvement with job costings
  • Assist with technical support and services

The applicant must have a full, clean driving licence as UK wide travel will be required with this role.
