Lead Indirect Buyer – IT & Digital Procurement
Stevenage - Hybrid (2–3 days on site)
Permanent - £45,000–£55,000 + bonus + strong benefits
We are recruiting a Lead Indirect Buyer to join a Digital Services Procurement team within a global engineering organisation. This role focuses on IT, software, and digital services and is suited to an experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer with strong indirect procurement experience.
You will lead end-to-end procurement activity across Enterprise Software, SaaS, Software Services, Cyber Security, Cloud Services, Networks, Telecoms, and Application Support. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will run competitive procurement exercises, manage suppliers, and ensure robust commercial governance in a regulated environment.
To be successful, you will have proven experience in indirect procurement, ideally within IT, digital, or software categories. You will be confident engaging with stakeholders, managing suppliers, and operating within structured procurement frameworks. Experience in defence, aerospace, public sector, or other regulated environments is beneficial but not essential.
This is a permanent role offering long-term development, exposure to complex international programmes, and flexible hybrid working.
