Job summary

A prominent community health service provider in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Family Nurse to join their dynamic team. This role involves delivering the Family Nurse Partnership programme to vulnerable young families, requiring strong community nursing skills and a background in safeguarding children. The successful candidate will provide leadership within the team and work collaboratively with various services, focusing on improving health outcomes for families. A degree and NMC registration are essential, with a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710 annually.

Qualifications

  • Significant community nursing/midwifery experience is required.
  • Knowledge of current public health agenda, particularly the Healthy Child Programme.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the FNP intensive home visiting programme to vulnerable young women.
  • Provide leadership expertise within the clinical methods of the structured programme.
  • Work with families to promote behavior change and positive outcomes.
