Responsibilities

  • Perform delegated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Manage contractors and support client requests.
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure service delivery meets contract requirements.
  • Ensure SLAs are met, proactively addressing issues.
  • Manage and enforce RAMs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of maintenance tasks.

Job Title: Lead Engineer (Single Site Engineer)

Location: Pimlico, SW1V

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Salary: £50,000

About the Role

I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join my client's team, to be based at a high end residential site in Pimlico. In this role, you will be the sole site engineer overseeing maintenance tasks across this large building. You will spend a mixture of your day performing hands‑on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on M&E & building systems, and escorting contractors where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform your delegated PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Managing contractors and supporting client requests.
  • Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
  • Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.
