Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience.
  • Chartered engineer status preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems focusing on cost, schedule, safety, reliability, and quality.
  • Create and interpret design specifications, data sheets, schematics, and layout drawings.
  • Act as a technical expert within a project.
  • Supervise or lead a discipline team providing technical direction.
  • Resolve complex technical problems encountered on projects.
  • Work in multi-disciplinary teams on projects from concept to construction.

Skills

Concept / FEED / EPC Electrical Engineering experience
Interpreting technical drawings
Managing electrical interfaces between packages
Vendor package management
Good working knowledge of Electrical design at 132kV to 400V
Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
User of ETAP software or equivalent

Education

Bachelors / Master degree in Electrical Engineering
Chartered engineer status
