Job Title: Lead Cover Supervisor
Actual Annual Salary: £30,700 - £33,951 (Based on hours and working weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £35,852 - £39,649 (CLF Grade E). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / Term Time only plus Insets
Additional role info: Working Pattern is Monday to Friday with a 7am start

We are seeking a Lead Cover Supervisor to join our team and ensure high-quality lesson cover across the academy. In this pivotal role, you will be leading, to ensure lessons run smoothly during teacher absences. You will coordinate and deploy cover efficiently, maintaining continuity of learning for all students. Support students in completing curriculum tasks, promoting positive behaviour and high aspirations. Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver a consistent and effective cover provision. Coach and guide staff, including supply teachers, to uphold academy standards. You’ll need excellent organisational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the confidence to make quick decisions under pressure. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact on student success.
