Based in offices from Glasgow to Sydney, we support clients across five continents.

We specialise in bridging the gap between strategic planning and operational execution, developing enduring solutions to the uniquely complex issues faced by our clients. We are experts in systems engineering and systems thinking, system and operational safety, data analysis, business change, and project and programme management. These unique skills, coupled with our extensive experience of engineering, regulatory practices and operations delivery enable us to develop sustainable, long-term solutions for our clients.

The Role

DAS is looking for a Chartered Safety Engineer to join our Systems Consulting Practice. You can expect to utilise your domain expertise and sector knowledge to support our energy clients, particularly those in the nuclear sector, with the varied and complex challenges they face. This is a hands-on role, and as a consultant you'll be expected to support clients to scope projects as well as designing and delivering appropriate solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting clients with safety-critical projects; working to find appropriate solutions to their challenges in the area of safety engineering
  • Hands-on project work in line with your skills and expertise, for example Safety Case Management and Safety Case report writing, and supporting clients with adoption and embedding of safety practices
  • Positioning yourself as subject matter expert for your client, advising and guiding on appropriate solutions for their business circumstances
  • Key account management in the nuclear sector, or account growth with a new or established client

Apply to DAS if you want to work on varied, complex projects within a business that values your development, where no two days are alike, and where you'll have a tangible impact on critical infrastructure in the UK.
