A leading communications company is seeking a self-motivated Lead AV Engineer in Kidderminster. You will resolve client issues on-site and provide training post-installation. Our client, a leading communications company, is looking to recruit a self‑motivated, professional, and efficient Lead AV Engineer to support their client base and ensure that a first‑class service is delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend client sites and resolve issues in a timely and neat manner.
  • Communicate with clients.
  • Demonstrate self‑motivation with a commitment to the issue at hand.
  • Use problem‑solving skills to find faults and consistently provide high‑standard solutions.
  • Deliver end‑user training after installation of new devices.
  • Accurately complete job reports, explain steps taken, and obtain sign‑off by the client.
  • Accurately complete other service records.
  • Build relationships with clients.
  • Identify sales opportunities with existing clients and feed feedback to the Sales team.
  • Conduct and record site surveys to a high standard.
  • Maintain standards of technical excellence within the team.
  • Participate in various training and development opportunities.
Qualifications

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of previous experience within a professional audio, video, video‑conferencing, or similar technical role, with the ability to install and configure equipment using software tools and terminate cables to industry standard. You should be self‑motivated, reliable, possess excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, and have the capacity to plan and manage your own workload efficiently.

As this is a field‑based role, a current driving licence is essential.
