Job description

Our client is a leading organisation in the UK who specialise in the regulatory manufacturing industry. They ensure that all clients are manufacturing products to UK standards meeting all compliance and regulations.

You’ll be working remotely and be responsible for visiting client sites, ensuring that QMS Systems are in accordance with UK requirements. You will be required to plan and conduct supplier & client audits to certify products under relevant ISO 17065 & 17020 standards and regulations.

What’s involved for the Lead Auditor
  • Externally audit client Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with regulations
  • Carry out internal audits on own QMS system
  • Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 17065 & ISO 17020 standards
Monitor, investigate and close out any non-conformances
  • Lead and direct an audit team in conducting audit activities relating to certifying products
  • Plan and prepare for verification activities
  • Liaise and report to the clients
What you’ll need
  • MUST be Lead Auditor Certified
  • MUST have experience carrying out audits on QMS systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 17065 & ISO 17020 advantageous but not essential
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Knowledge of ADR preferred but not essential
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • MUST be able to communicate at all levels developing strong relationships
  • MUST have car and full UK driving licence
  • MUST be willing to travel to customer sites
