Empowering Learning are seeking a Law Lecturer to join the A Levels and GCSEs Department at an FE College based in Cardiff.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing and delivering engaging Law lessons, including tutorials and marking.
  2. Conducting student assessments to monitor progress and identify learning support needs.
  3. Providing appropriate academic and pastoral support for learners, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  4. Managing organisational and administrative tasks, such as attending team meetings, maintaining records of assessments and attendance, and engaging in professional development.
  5. Contributing to course evaluation and curriculum development activities.
  6. Supporting marketing initiatives, including identifying learner needs and assisting with publicity.
  7. Undertaking additional duties as required by College management, including collaborative research or consultancy.
  8. Working flexibly, which may include evenings and weekends, and teaching across multiple College sites and community venues.
