Overview

Wilson Lloyd Garden Builders is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, intelligent professional. We are constantly developing new ideas and methods and ask all staff to be innovative and enthusiastic in bettering themselves and helping to develop our business.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all aspects of both hard and soft landscaping, including setting out from plans, groundworks, paving, wall construction, carpentry, horticultural works and other on-site tasks related to the creation of modern gardens.
• Work under a Landscape Foreman and a Landscape Director; experience required in site logistics, keeping the site clean and tidy, maintaining tools, and organising routes and storage for materials.
• Site logistics: ensure the site is clean and tidy, actively maintaining tools, and organising routes and storage for movement of materials.
• Landscaper’s role and self-management: be well presented and punctual, understand limitations and be ready to learn, communicate effectively with staff (particularly the Foreman), and apply solid workmanship to deliver high-quality work.
• Communication with management: identify where slowing or waste may occur and discuss corrections with the Foreman; adapt methods accordingly.
• Full skill set as required: concreting and screeding; wood framing; decking; screens and fencing; stone laying; painting; material care and maintenance; tool care; site maths and accurate measurement and setup.
